Rock Drill Operator / Driller
Drill operators are responsible for running rock drill rigs. Communicating with and reporting to a job supervisor, they manage the operation of drills in diverse conditions based on predetermined plans and layouts. Duties include handling and operation of drills, adhering to all safety rules and regulations, maintaining communication with project supervisors, filling out daily drill logs, and general upkeep of assigned equipment/vehicle.
Must be willing to travel throughout the Midwest. We currently perform drilling operations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, and Upper Michigan. Overnight lodging is provided, as well as a travel per diem.
Must be comfortable working alone and in diverse conditions. Good communication skills and ability to fill out daily detailed drill logs, safety checklists, and miscellaneous paperowork is required.

Annual MSHA refresher training is provided and required.

Our construction crews currently operate in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, and Iowa. Overnight lodging is provided.
Good communication skills and ability to fill out daily detailed logs, safety checklists, and miscellaneous paperwork is required.

Construction blasters are responsible for managing the use of explosives on construction job sites. They oversee a crew of drillers to design, layout, and detonate shots in various environments. Duties include handling and operation of explosive materials, adhereing to all safety riles and regulations, maintaining communication with project manager, filling out daily paperwork, and general upkeep of assigned equipment/vehicle.
Our construction crews currently operate in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, and Iowa. Overnight lodging is provided.
Good communication skills and ability to fill out daily detailed logs, inventory tracking, safety checklists, and miscellaneous paperwork is required.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Heavy equipment mechanics are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy machinery such as drill rigs, vehicles, tractor trailers, and other miscellaneous support equipment. Communication skills to work with other mechanics as well as the ability to work unsupervised in a safe and efficient manner are required. This position may also include an opportunity to transition into field mechanic, traveling throughtout the Midwest to service and repair equipment on jobsites.

Shop Assistant
Shop assistants provide support to lead mechanics at our on-site shop. This includes assisting in equipment upkeep and maintenance, maintaining organization and cleanliness of shop, and other related duties assigned. Our lead mechanics maintain and repair various heavy equipment machinery such as rock drills, tractor trailers, and utility trucks. Shop assistants will work in this environment to aid mechanics in daily operations, reporting to shop manager.
Duties include cleaning shop environment, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment and parts, and landscaping duties, such as lawnmowing and trimming.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of basic tools and vehicle operation
* Must be able to lift/carry heavy objects
* Ability to follow instructions and assist mechanics as needed
* Problem solving skills
* Comfortable working independently
* Minimum of 16 years old
